About the Library

The Eugene S. Farley Library provides the collections and services to support and strengthen the teaching, learning, mentoring and research mission of 鶹 University.

Our vision is to offer a friendly, comfortable, information rich, high tech/multimedia and service-oriented environment that cultivates a lifelong commitment to learning, ethics, civic responsibility and openness to cultural diversity.

Library resources available to 鶹 University students include:

  • Find@Farley, a tool that simultaneously searches all available library resources, databases and journals.
  • Smart classrooms.
  • University Archives.
  • Four special collections rooms.

The Writing Center is a peer mentoring-based academic support resource and location of the Writing Mentor Program. It is staffed by undergraduate peer consultants and a graduate assistant trained to assist all writers at 鶹.

The library's Alden Learning Commons (located at the basement level) is open 24/7. To access after hours, please use the South Street WIN card entrance.
